Hello and welcome! My name is Betty Nyameyie Armoo, and I'm the creator behind ITA EVOLVE. This is a passion project I've poured my heart into, intending to amplify the voices of international graduate teaching assistants and empower them through shared experiences.
As an international graduate TA from Ghana, I've have experienced the highs and lows of being in this in-between space and my desire for a shared community experience led to creating this website. I've come to deeply appreciate having this space to provide other international graduate TAs with a resource to navigate this journey.
On ITA EVOLVE, you'll find primary content that captures our experiences in eight key topics: Culture, Language, Professional Development, Pedagogy, Mental health, Success stories, Personal experiences/Challenges, Advice/Tips.
I hope this becomes a go-to resource for International Graduate students and TAs as they navigate the unfamiliar.
